Fab for Good: Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation’s 10th Anniversary Art For Life Benefit

This past Saturday Russell Simmons held Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation’s 10th Anniversary Art For Life Benefit in the East Hamptons. The annual benefit is held to celebrate the creative energy of our New York City youth and honor exemplary individuals in our community. Soledad O’Brien hosted the festivities while Sheila C. Johnson, Salamander Hospitality, Target and Vanessa Williams were honored for their work in the community. Gayle King, L.A. Reid, Star Jones, Bev Smith, Stephen Hill, Susan l. Taylor and Donna Karan were just a few on hand to make Saturday’s event a success.

Founded in 1995 by brothers Russell, Danny and Joseph “Rev. Run” Simmons, Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation, a 501 (C ) 3 organization, is dedicated to providing disadvantaged urban youth with significant arts exposure, access and education as well as providing exhibition opportunities to early and mid-career artists and artists of color.
