Have you ever been in the mix of a fabulous recipe that you know will taste like heaven as soon as it’s done and can’t find the proper measuring utensils to finish the job? Now if you’re cooking a meal, that’s not so much of a big deal since you can always improvise when it comes to seasonings–but if you’re baking–you need to stick to the script. There’s little room for improvisation in baking–trying using a quarter teaspoon of “soda” in your grandma’s red velvet cake recipe versus the 1/2 teaspoon she told you to and see what happens? lol

What do you get when you merge creativity, fashion, and old 45’s–for the average person, not a thing, but then you wouldn’t be shopping on junkprints.com. If you were you would know that the merger would lead to funky fresh neck candy. The recycled record name plate necklaces are laser cut and oh so fabulous.
Being the pessimist that I am, I automatically thought “ahh, everything looks hot online…it’s probably a mess when you see it up close”; boy was I wrong. I got the chance to meet the Get ‘Em Girl behind the necklaces and she had one on…and it looked better.

I recently purchased an iPhone and I’ve been looking for really cute cases for it when I happened upon this one; which is not only attractive, but green! The InCase Bamboo Slider is made of from 40% bamboo pulp, collected from recycled bamboo products like chopsticks and scaffolding. I love it!
Home Finds: Personal Library Kit
My library of books is pretty extensive; especially since I found out that the Marshall’s in my area has books for so cheap! I also love to share the books that I purchase with friends and family; and for the most part, they are always returned in tip top shape. But (you know there is always a but), there are those repeat offenders that some how lose the book or send it back tattered, dog-eared, and splattered with chicken grease (‘like, you were really reading Men Cry In the Dark while frying chicken?’)
