Guilty Pleasures: Krispy Kreme

Krispy Kreme doughnuts are the best.  While in NC a friend brought me some and I was just elated.  As a child I remember getting excited when I would drive by a Krispy Kreme shop and see the “Hot Now” sign.  I also loved watching through the window as the glaze fell onto the doughnuts…umm umm ummmmmmmm! There use to be a location Uptown in Manhattan, unfortunately not anymore. As I chewed on every tender morsel of my doughnuts I thought about my business partner, Joan and believe it or not I poured some icing crumbs out for the sisters who couldn’t be there.
