Google Me Baby

Admit it. You did it. You met a guy at some cutesy bar. He gave you a drink, his conversation and his card. You went home and googled him. It’s nothing to be ashamed of, girl. Employers and your ex-boyfriends do it on a regular basis, so why shouldn’t a potential girlfriend do the same?

You might find something impressive like his dissertation on technology’s impact on micro-loans in third world countries or you might find something disturbing like a Facebook album from last month full of his wedding photos. I always google people I meet. My little database of contacts is filled with useful notes that I got off of the internet.

Have you ever found something on Google that put you in “yes” or “no” mode on a guy? If you have googled someone and kept in touch afterwards, did you tell that person about your cyberspace snooping or did you keep it to yourself?

I googled a guy and found a website that he and his WIFE used to sell their home. He’s still denying to this day that he’s married. Poor lil fella.

YUP i sure do, i utilize my toppy for everything especially cyber snooping. This guy i met on a social network site was messaging me, we exchanged numbers and we spoke once and then i googled him by his real name, nothing…then by his email, nothing…then by his AOL messenger name, bingo! The first person on his friendslist on this other site (myspace) was a Mrs.
So lets say his name on Myspace is Showstopper, her name is Mrs. Showstopper. So then I checked the last time she logged in to make sure its an active account and she logged in that same day. so i asked him again later that day, do u have a girlfriend or anyone your dating, be honest. hes like no, why are you asking me this again…i said ok well i have no intentions of meeting you right now, something just doesnt sit well. He probably had an idea i googled him and a couple days later when i went back to check his page, she was gone from his friendslist completely. lol i never told him and i wont, men just need to be honest, especially when theyre the ones stressing Realness and Honesty. Start with your damn self
