ABOUT US

Hey! Welcome to the online home of the Get ’Em Girls! You know a Get ’Em Girl when you see one. She’s got it together: great career, fabulous friends, and plenty of style. However, every now and then even the most fabulous need a little help. Whether you need to know where to find the latest must-haves in fashion, how to pick the perfect peach for your delicious peach cobbler, how to tell if it’s time to dump the zero you’ve been dating, quick-fix tips on your new home repairs, or so much more—we’ve got you covered.

If you are anything like us, many of your thoughts about love, life, and being well-balanced usually involve a little bit of pop culture, fashion, and beauty (“I have to find the shoes Sanaa Lathan wore for my birthday soiree!”); food (“What the heck is sauté; and do they sell it at Whole Foods?”); fitness and health (“There has to be a healthier way to lose 10 pounds than this?”); politics and money (“Earmarks, schmearmarks—what the heck are they talking about, and how do they affect my wallet?”), dating (“He wants me to meet his parents—but it’s only been two weeks!”); family (“How do I tell my mother-in-law to go home—in a nice way?”); home (“How can I coordinate my furniture—without it looking too matchy?”) and the environment (“If I cut my 20-minute showers to what, I can save how much?”).  And this is why Get ’Em Girls is here—to help you tackle all of the different aspects of life, but in a fresh, conversational, fun and relatable way.

Get ’Em Girls is the site that celebrates the many facets of multicultural women everywhere! So kick off your stilettos and jump right in—post comments, laugh out loud, send in your suggestions and tips! If you love it, tell us! If you hate it—uh, I guess you can tell us that too!
