Fab for Good: WEEN for Haiti Tonight in NYC

The ladies of Women in Entertainment Empowerment Network (WEEN) have partnered with amazing brands to raise emergency aid and awareness for the victims of the devastating earthquake in Haiti. The WEEN for Haiti event will be taking place this evening in New York City at Katra Lounge, 217 Bowery Street, between 5:00 pm and 11:00 pm. All proceeds raised will go to Wyclef Jean’s Yele Organization.

Fab for Good: Diddy Helps Partygoers Get Home Safely

For the second year in a row, music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, in partnership with Ciroc Vodka, E! Entertainment and the NY Taxi and Limousine Commission picked up the tab for thousands of New Year’s Eve partygoers in New York and Las Vegas by giving away $15.00 taxi debit cards.

The giveaway took place between 11pm and 3am in high traffic areas and could only be used after midnight.  The Safe Rides program promotes “responsible celebration and decision making during the holiday season”. Fab indeed.

On Wednesday, December 9th, BET’s 106 & Park Host, Terrence J along wit The Women in Entertainment Empowerment Network and celebrity friends will host a 2009 Holiday Party & Toy Drive at the swanky Highbar Lounge in New York, New York. This highly anticipated holiday event allows executives, artists, and philanthropists to give back to their community by donating toys that will be hand delivered to the Boys and Girls Club in Newark, NJ.

“I thoroughly enjoy helping people anyway that I can,” says BET 106 & Park’s host, Terrence J. “I wanted to be sure that my vision could be displayed through any fundraiser I’m apart of. For those reasons, there is no better way to use my influence to help the less fortunate.”

BET Network host Alesha Renee, Barry Floyd (Tee Tee for m the Hit TV Show The Game), R&B Singer Sammie andpro-skater Jereme Rodgers  are just a few of the celebs that will be participating in the annual basketball soiree.   This year’s game will be held at Glasglow High School in support of HIV Prevention in Newark, Delaware.
