BET’s 106 & Park host, Rocsi Diaz, has been the subject of many blog articles in the past, but she has most recently come under fire for her *questionable* fashion choices. I feel like her personal style is cool, when she hits up events on her own terms, I think she’s pretty fly. It’s just her 106 & Park outfits that perplex me. Now, unlike Mad’am Minaj, I’m not blaming Rocsi– I’m blaming the Wardrobe Stylist for 106 & Park. I have come to this very simple conclusion: they’re beefing! Yes, you heard it hear first. The 106 stylist doesn’t like Rocsi, so she takes it out on her wardrobe!

Me being a person of solutions, I have decided to make-over Rocsi! Since I’ve met her, and have come to really like her based on the way she acted towards me (she is surprisingly sweet, and very inviting), I’ve decided to give her this well earned birthday gift! A MAKEOVER!

From The Mouth Of Babes: Nicki Minaj

There is a lot of hype surrounding Nicki Minaj, and her presence is undeniable (her buzz is insane!). I am admittedly a fan of her music, I can’t even lie I was bumping her ‘Beam Me Up Scotty’ mixtape hard! But her lyrical ability leaves a lot to be desired. She’s a very pretty girl, she’s animated, she’s fun, her flow is nice, but.. ehh.. I don’t know about those lyrics! But it’s not just her lyrics that leave a lot to be desired, her fashion sense does too. Nicki is the self-proclaimed Harajuku Barbie, but when she dresses I don’t get “Barbie” from her:

Exposed bra’s, massive cleavage exposure, paint splattered denim, and I swear she has every legging ever made! I don’t recall seeing her in anything other than leggings since she took the above picture (with the denim jeans on). But the straw that broke the camel’s back was her BET Hip-Hop Awards 2009 look. The shiny pleather jacket, hole-y leggings with a camel toe cameo, and some Louis Vuitton boots with the cone heel straight off the Fall 2009 runway. The boots passed, but the rest of the look…#fail!

I am a person of solutions, so I decided to give her a much needed make over. I definitely don’t want to take away her sexy, it’s apart of her image and she does have a really nice body. The overall look I was going for with her was something feminine, flirty,
