Congratulations to singer and actress Jennifer Hudson and her fiancé David Otunga on the birth of their first child, who the lawyer-turned-WWE wrestler proudly named David Daniel Otunga Jr. According to reports, Hudson gave birth Monday evening to the healthy 7 pound, 14 ounce bundle of joy! Love it.

Fab Style-A-Like: Jennifer Hudson

Jennifer Hudson has been the talk of the blogs for the past 24 hours, and I’ve received a few e-mails about the jacket she wore during the Super Bowl pre-show. The military style jacket she wore is the it style of the moment, but I couldn’t find that one to save my life! I initially thought it was Alexander McQueen, and did an extensive search of his RTW Fall ‘08 and Spring ‘09 lookbooks…to no avail. So, I’ve decided to go with the next best thing…Style-A-Like! Here goes…

Hudson vs. Houston: The Star-Bangled Showdown!

I had to catch Jennifer Hudson rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner” during Sunday’s Super Bowl XLIII on DVR, because I missed it initially…but before I could, I received about 15 calls about how she put what Jaime Foxx would call “the sauce” on it. After viewing it for myself, she didn’t just put “the sauce” on it…she marinated, rubbed, AND smoked the National Anthem lol.

It felt good to see Jennifer Hudson back on the scene during last nights pre-game show for the Super Bowl. She looked great and her voice sounded stellar. I felt proud to be an American hearing her rendition of the National Anthem. Go J. Hud!
