Another one of my beloved home magazines has become the latest recession victim. According to reports, Hachette Filipacchi Media US announced Monday that December will be the last issue for Metropolitan Home. The home decorating magazine was one of my favorites and I’m especially disappointed because I renewed my subscription not long ago.

I heart Metropolitan Home and I’m really sad to see it go, but it’s been a rough 2 years for home magazines. The media company will now focus all of their energy into its other shelter title magazine, Elle Décor. I’m sure the last issue will be absolutely fabtastic of course so make sure you grab a copy.
